Monica Bhattacharjee works as an educator currently based in Singapore. She holds a Masters degree in English Literature and a diversified specialization in Applied Linguistics. Monica began writing as a child, for a children's bi-monthly magazine and in school newsletters. As a teenager she dabbled in poetry with some of her haikus and limericks having been published in verse anthologies and poetry websites.

Monica's areas of interest range from psycholinguistics and developmental psychology to art, philosophy, science, anthropology, human and physical geography, calligraphy, hieroglyphics and the paranormal.
